On August 21, 2008, we held our Summer Court of Honor.
The Fischer's were kind enough to let us have the Court of Honor at their home. We used their vacant lot, then they allowed us to have a pool party.
We started with a flag ceremony, then Caleb lit torches to represent the Scout Law.
Next on the agenda was presenting Merit Badges that had been earned.
Mr. Guilbert shared some thoughts with everyone.
It was then time for Rank Advancements - boys getting their cards
and moms getting their pins.
Mr. Fischer, Mr. Clark, Mrs. Bushong, and Mr. Sands were
recognized for their help with the Camp Alexander campout in Colorado this
summer.
It was then Mr. Hoods turn to speak - the famous "Scoutmaster Minute."
Time to Retire the Colors and close another successful Court of
Honor. That meant it was also time to start the Pool Party! We had
some fun there.
