On November 29, 2007, we delivered over 400 cases of popcorn worth over $30,000 to troops at Ft Hood.
We put the popcorn on 10 pallets and had to use a moving truck to transport it all.
Once we got to Ft. Hood, it was time to unload. The process went pretty quickly, thanks to Charlie's expertise with the pallet jack.
We then went to meet the troops and present them with the popcorn. Mr. Moltz was able to speak to the troops, explaining how the Popcorn for the Troops donation program started and how it was accomplished. We were then presented with certificates of appreciation from the troops, as well as a troop coin.
Once the presentation was complete, Lt Lilley took us to see two helicopters, up close and personal. We started at the Apache, where we were able to climb aboard.
